We have two DSs. I bought them to keep my son occupied during the many hours of ballet we had to go to while dh was deployed. It was a sanity saver.

I really like the games. I try not to get too many of the obnoxious ones. Although the Mario one drives me crazy. It sounds like I'm sitting in Chuck E Cheese. I think I'm overly sensitive.

I limit the time the children can play. They play in waiting rooms either at ballet or at therapy.

It has also helped my son relate to other children through the DS. They can chat and take turns with the DS. It's been a blessing for us.
