Our daughter has asked for a nun's habit for Christmas. Our local sewing shop laughed at the idea that anyone did a pattern for one and I got some very unsavoury items when I googled it. Does anyone know if such a thing as a nun habit pattern for a little child exists or have creative ideas for how to cobble one together?

I was just looking for something like that...All Saints Day coming up:). I can't link it, but about.com has an article that lists several patterns that could be easily adapted. I think it was just 'how to sew a nun costume' that I searched on ask. Good luck! We ended up with St Elizabeth and didn't need a pattern;)
