I am so excited. We sat making a We Love Pope Benedict poster for our window and I said to DH that I am starting to feel better and *almost* like I could manage a trip to London to line the streets and see the Pope in his Popemobile. And he fixed it all - hired a car (ours is not reliable), reserved parking near the zone where we have a chance to see the Holy Father (so I need not worry about being on the underground) and in a place near to somewhere very safe so I can feel safer from terrorists.  All my anxieties tackled!
It would have been almost impossible to go the main events, as they were all starting at 2am and spending 6-8 hours at the venue waiting, and all travel on coaches, and I couldn't cope with that [don't know many mothers with small children who could actually!] but at least we stand a chance of being able to see the Pope pass by (although the website says it is very limited space so we may not be lucky or dh may take the children exploring while I sit on the pavement for some hours to reserve a spot!) Now I am feeling so excited and this is all so new to feel excited and positive and energetic and able to do things again  but best of all, I might see our beautiful Pope! We are taking our poster to wave too
