My request has become a bit easier for someone to meet so please, please let me know if you have any ideas!
We have found someone who will in all likelihood be available to take our kids in our home overnight while I'm in the hospital with the baby, for much of the evening, and sometimes in the afternoon. But most days if she is here during the night she would need to leave before 8 a.m. We still need more daytime coverage -- haven't yet solidified plans for this...
Please PM me if you know and trust any mature, experienced sitters who could be in our home -- an adult or I would say at least age 16+ homeschooled girls who are confident and very experienced caring for little kids, as there are three kids, 8, 6, and 2, one of whom is mildly affected by an autism spectrum disorder but doesn't need someone trained specially to help with that. We would need to be able to meet them beforehand and time is running out (or I'd like to think so. I'm 38w1d, maybe 38w4d max.) We're in the town of Herndon which is in western Fairfax County. (And if you do reply on the board for some reason, could you please not quote our town name so I can edit it out later? I don't try to be completely anonymous here, but do like to limit the overall number of identifying details.)

I sure wish I knew anyone back there Theresa. Good luck with your search.. that would be stressing me out and my due date is a few days after yours and I'm not likely to be early.

Almost covered for this week... some gaps but just met another really nice well-qualified lady. She's well qualified enough to be a full-time nanny whose employers just happen to be out of town this week though so we still need someone(s) for after Sunday... unless baby cooperates and is born by then. Which is not asking that much of him, but still a very good chance it won't happen.
