Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I was just wondering...........

Who are YOUR kids marrying?

And, the kids you know.........who are they marrying?

I look around me and I see so many homeschool kids marrying homeschooled kids........is that trend everywhere?

Also, are they marrying Catholics?

Thanks for sharing your experiences!

Happy June, the month of the wedding!

I see a lot of homeschool kids in this area marrying non-homschoolers, but discussing homeschooling for their future kids. All of them are Catholic.

No weddings yet in our house. Funny you should ask though, as we are going to a wedding this morning of a homeschool grad - the boys were in co-op together. Anyway, he is marrying a girl he met at Ave Maria (not homeschooled).

I see many of the alumni of our large Catholic hs group marrying fellow alumni. And marrying young. But having stable marriages and open to children.

Not universally, but the trend is definitely there. I haven't heard of any of them marrying outside the church, but I'm not positive on that.

Also, we have vocations from our group! Several young men in seminary and several young women in postulancy or novitiate.

It's all good!

My DD is engaged to a Catholic homeschool grad and they plan on homeschooling their future children.
