Any suggestions what to do with every National Geographic magazine since 1960?
That's what my parents have and want to get rid of....

They hate to just toss them into the recycling, so we are really searching for ideas.

Unless they really want someone to have them for collector's items, they are GREAT for cutting out pictures for all sorts of things, especially Montessori culture folders, research projects on animals, etc.

Oh I so wish I lived near You ! I read the mag everytime we take the kids to the dentist .We have some old copies at the cottage . These are so special to me because it was always my Christmas present for yrs from my Gramma Grace .she'd renew my subscription each yr for me . I'd take them in a heartbeat if we lived nearby.
I'm thinking you could have your own geo museum
they are great for cutting up that is true . I have pics in my childhood scrapebook from issues I loved .
Oh and if your parents have the maps that came with the mags those are fantastic maps ! save the maps at least for your geography interests .
if they want to donate them maybe an afterschool program for kids ? I know when I'd bring my copy to my class as a child so many of the kids had not been exposed to these types of articles , culture etc.
I'd like to think of them really helping others like that inner city kids etc.
