What a cool story! That was really touching.

Tim used to read to the boys every night. We read all of the Swallows and Amazons series, LOTR, Bethlehem books and many others that way. Then somehow life got busier and we don't make the time very often even though Noah begs. (Of course he waits until it's way past bedtime and I'm sending them to bed to do so...). We need to rededicate ourselves to this. Thanks, Chari!

I especially loved how the dad has compiled a collection of all their favorite books to pass on to his daughter. He said he wasn't wealthy and wouldn;t have much to leave his family, but this was his treasure. Yes! A true treasure... the books ( over 700!) and all the memories.
