So although there were a few very indistinct little feelings when I was lying quietly in bed very late at night, I didn't strongly suspect I was feeling the baby move till right about the time I turned 16 weeks. I'm 17 weeks today, and pretty much every day since then I've felt something and concluded it must be him/her.
I'm amazed how quickly I'm feeling more and more, stronger and stronger! I mean, not big kicks or anything, but definitely in keeping with a 5-inch person darting around a very small swimming pool in my abdomen. Did your babies become this noticeable this soon after you first really felt them at all?

I do normally feel a great deal more movement starting about then.. actually come to think of it, I am (I'm 16.5 weeks) I think I've felt movements now and again for a bit longer but honestly wouldn't admit it to myself until I heard the baby's heartbeat again at my last appt. (last week). But I do normally feel movement early but it's the once and then days.. later feel another tiny movement. It's usually right about now that I am able to feel things more consistently.

I swear I felt flutters with baby # 3 at around 12 weeks! I am about 15 weeks and have been feeling movement with this baby # 4 for at least 2+ weeks. Again, it's just that almost rolling around feeling inside and doesn't last long but doesn't happen several times a day.

I usually start to feel little nudges or flutters around 14-15 weeks, but usually not daily - and that is concerning to me...then around 18 weeks I notice them regularly and I can breathe! LOL!

Baby was less active in recent days. It couldn't have been that long at all before I started to feel less reassured, although at 17 weeks and with no history of loss or anything else wrong, I knew there was no reason at all to panic. But then since not long after noticing that, I have started feeling a few little "blips" again that I'm pretty sure must be baby.
I was doing a lot better at keeping hydrated and now I've been lagging a bit with my water intake (and not making up for it with juice or even soda)... wonder if that could have anything to do with the difference. Either way I need more fluids.

baby could easily have just shifted position and was aiming more motion toward the inside or toward the placenta where it would be much harder for you to feel.
and yes, get more fluids
