Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I'm thinking of ordering some of the little brooms, mops, etc. from one of the Montessori-type catalogues. I've also been eyeing the little wooden stands to corral the tools.

Have any of you used these? I have been brainstorming ways to make life here at home more pleasant & thought the right sized tools (maybe two of each) would make keeping house a little more convienient.

I growing weary of small people fighting over our single adult-sized tools!

Blessings,
Angela

Hi!

We have the child sized tools and we keep them mounted on the wall right by the adult ones. We have to be careful they are used as brooms and mops and not swords
I have seen a baby that could just barely walk trying to sweep the floor and was sooo very happy to be doing so! I think we got ours from montessori services

The wall organizer is great because it does not walk away like the other organizer does

HTH!

I have also seen smaller versions of housekeeping type tools at IKEA if you are near one - they are pretty reasonably priced compared to some of the catalogs.

Our family has various sized wooden brooms, cotton mops, aprons, etc. for the different size/aged children. I initially purchased a circular wooden stand with holes which was designed to hold several brooms/mops at one time but we found it did not get used as the adult brooms and mops are hung on wall clips. We purchased them from     Michael Olaf Catalog. They actually have two catalogs, one for birth to age three and one from three to twelve. They have tools of all sizes in both catalogs and I thought they were priced fairly.

In my experience, ALL walking kids (at least 5 and under) LOVE the carpet sweeper. And they actually clean! (Of course the 2 year old I watched using it today had figured out how to shake the dirt out so he could sweep it back up! )

One of those catalogs has one (I don't have time to look right now)
