Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

We are FINALLY getting a new printer ( I am so ready as our very very old one is driving me )After all my research of many months we are more or less decided on the CANON PIXMA 860 Wireless All in One.

Does anyone own this and have any views on it?

I would especially like to know how it is on ink - is it a guzzler or fairly economic?

Thanks

Ooo, Marilyn that Canon PIXMA looks great. I don't know anything about it but have always had good look with Canons ....

We have an HP all-in-one that I hate because it just sucks up the ink (and HP won't let anyone do copy their ink -- when we've tried to use generics on HPs, which this particular one doesn't take anyway, they always are more problems than the savings! ).

Anyway, will be watching this thread with interest as I'd love to buy a new printer!

I own a Canon PIXMA printer and LOVE it. It's pretty good on ink. You can ignore their low ink warning and keep printing for much longer. I've had mine since 2006. It's going strong.

Mary - I just ordered. I have been suffering with no printer for the last week - finally did it and cannot wait. I cannot believe how much I use a printer - it has been so tough

We actually bought an HP all in one last year which was horrid - I checked reviews etc but nothing negative before I bought it. It lasted 6 months (and we had lots of trouble with constant messages etc) - then stopped working. I checked reviews on Amazon etc then and suddenly lots of messages about it being absolutely awful. Bless Costco - they gave us our money back - and we have been using this 10 year old one for 5 months now - it has been temperamental for weeks and finally caved in last week.

I found out that my sister has the MX 850 and LOVES it. So hopefully I will have good reviews.

I always struggle at first - how to connect it all etc.
