May I share a cute little boy story?

My son Ezra is 2 1/2 and he has really held onto the things we've shared with him about Jesus' birth this year. He has a baby doll he's been carrying for a few months (trying to help him learn to be gentle in preparation for his first little cousin!) and he has been calling his baby "Baby Jesus" for several days now.

The other day he thought he was being very silly to answer all of my questions with Baby Jesus for the answer and then he would laugh hysterically every time. I asked him what he'd like to wear- "Baby Jesus" was the answer. What he wanted to play with- "Baby Jesus". Would you like to run an errand with Daddy?- "Baby Jesus."

I was telling a dear friend about our whole day of "Baby Jesus" answers and after laughing with me a bit she said, "you do realize that he's just telling you that the answer is always Jesus, right?"
