Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Did anyone watch this on TV last night? I have not read the book, or even heard of it, but it was a good family movie.

WHY though did they show it frm 9-11? I hate when they put on a "family movie" that late .... so I didn't watch it (watched reruns of Monk instead which I never saw until Friday night -- only to find out it was Part 1 of the final episode! I guess we've been out of the loop without cable all these years! )

Dh always watches TV at night and I put the kids to bed. He was watching this and when I went down to say goodnight, after the kids were done, he had this movie on. I couldn't leave.
It was a great movie. I was bummed it was on so late. Might have to try to find it on DVD so the kids can watch and I can see the whole thing.
You are right, great family movie. Are all the Hallmark movies like that?

Try CBS online. They often have shows to watch online.

It was on from 8 to 10 here, but the kids have an 8:00 pm bedtime. I taped it, so they can watch it later today. I can probably have my FIL make a copy of the tape if you want to borrow it!

Was this one of the Hallmark Christmas movies?    We really enjoy the Christmas movies that Hallmark makes, but not being used to TV, we really have a tough time with all the commercials. With your recommendations, we'll give it a try if it is replayed.
