Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

This is our bishop - he's awesome! I loved this homliy. I posted it on FCL last week. He is VERY pro-homeschooling (as you can read). We are truly blessed to have such a bishop.

God bless!

I loved this part too!
Unfortunately he is not our bishop since I'm in the diocese of Scranton, but our bishop, Bishop Martino, is a wonderful champion of life and very pro-NFP which is nice. I actually don't know what his views are on homeschooling. But I am blessed to know wonderful, supportive priests!
