Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My dh has asked for the list. My bday is the 21st of Dec, so I always have pressure for a list because he says he can't think of gifts by himself for 2 celebrations at one time

I'm not feeling in need of anything though...not really.

I'm thinking maybe a yogurt maker. I saw a 2qt thing in a "chefs" catalog.

What are you guys thinking of??? So many times during the year, I think "oh I should remember to put that on my Christmas list" but when it comes time to write it, I can never remember!!!!

I want these things that go on your feet to separate your toes, supposed to be good for relaxing your feet and muscles.

Maybe a tea kettle, too!

I just got the request for a list too, lol.

I have a few books on my list as well as the new Carrie Underwood CD. A new immersion blender would be nice, but I'd be really happy with a good book. :)

Hmmm...
-a new garlic press
-bookshelves (that is a yearly item!)
-nice tea
-yarn
(basically it is the same list as last year except for the garlic press )

My dh always buys me a book or book and cd, so I don't have to think about that as he has great taste in books.

Art Supplies! I especially want Caran d'Ache Neocolor 2 pastel crayons, Golden liquid acrylics, new brushes, and a couple of moleskin journals.
I probably will just hand him the Dick Blick catalog with a bunch of stuff circled!LOL!

I am asking for a nice painting(print)of Jesus with the woman at the well. It seems that so many things I've read this year have referenced the passages about this from the gospel. I found one that I love and it is called "Living Water".

new slippers.. the good ones with arch support.. I've about worn out my last pair.. ok.. there's actually no "about" about it.. they're worn out (but the arch support is still good) so I just wear wool socks in them and they still work.. though they're not too far from coming clear apart.

books

old tv shows on dvd.. I really like these because you can watch one episode for 30-60 minutes OR several.. unlike a movie where you need a couple of hours to watch the whole thing.. we have the first season of Emergency! and want more and I would like to get some of the Quantum Leap ones too

Ya know, I do this same thing, so I try to add books to my Amazon wish list as they come up through the year. Right now these are the ones I have on there:

The Secret Diary of Elisabeth Leseur
I Believe in Love
When Children Love to Learn
Prayerfully Expecting
Thy Will Be Done

I also keep a running wish list in my folder of miscellaneous items, especially things under $10, since that's our spending limit for the exchange with my hubby's siblings. Right now, I've got a few ideas:

Spatulas (I had a few bite the dust lately )
Some Trader Joe's treats I particularly like
Spices
Fat quarters
Peppermint Torino syrup

I thought of another item that is truly needed, okay, maybe not specifically...

but I have a Vera Bradley purse and I have worn out the handles, the foam inside each handle is totally showing and there are several holes on the bottom of the purse. So I do need a purse, I guess it doesn't have to be another Vera Bradley but...we'll see!

Oh and Jodie guess what I found online! Go here for season 2 Emergency episodes. The website has a bunch of other shows too. I LOVED Gage...totally going to marry him! HA! I watched an episode a couple of weeks ago and about cracked up. Ahh...the 70s!

Amazon just recently changed their wishlist to include anything online. So, you can add a Universal wishlist button to your browser and whenever you are on a page with something you "want" you can hit the button and voila, its on the wishlist.
