I read blogs in google reader and enjoy the Shared Items function. Exploring it all further I discovered that I can add posts to the shared items that are not in my google reader, Share anything on the web! Just drag this bookmarklet to your browser's bookmark toolbar. (next to a little bookmarklet)
what on earth is my browser's bookmark toolbar?
Anyone know how to do this?

what browser do you use? if it's Internet Explorer they may just mean that toolbar at the top of the screen with "links".

My dh showed me how to do that at one point.. I just don't do it often enough to actually remember how to do it in a timely manner
