Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Ladies I saw the post on skirts below and thought maybe you all could help me out with tight shopping .
I cannot wear anything nylon or poly on my feet where my ecsema is worst . At times I can't even wear socks as I'm sensative to elastic as well . So tights or leggings without feet is best for me .
We live in a very cold climate for winter months so a thikcre fabric is perferred . Yes I can buy longjohns but being a family full of men and boys it is nice to have some female presence especially in the wardrobe . Since gaining wieght I wear many overals and plaid shirts which I am getting a tad tired of. I've been wanting to move into some of my skirts again which do fit me fine but the tights I have all have shot wastebands and plus the fabric is all faded . It'd be nice to find something new .
   any suggestions ?

I have tights from Maggie's Organics that are cotton and have held up well. I can order them through my local food co-op, which is nice.

The problem is that Maggie's Organic tights do have some nylon and rubber - so if you are allergic to nylon or latex (which you may be if you react to elastic) - they may bother your eczema.

I empathize with you - I have not found 100% cotton tights for adults here - I may have to ask a friend in England to look for some there for me.

Marilyn have you ever tried the soft wool leggings ? I always wanted to but I have reaction to wool sweaters that are that sort of brikly wool . I am sort of afraid to invest money on the tights . They claim not to be itchy wool . I am in Canada and there are wool legging suppliers here .
I can handle some leggings with elatic / spandex but that is because if my feet get itchy I can just roll up the legging but yes I'd prefer an all cotton version for sure . my hands , feet , neck area & face are all the most sensative spots but I've even had trouble with these new undies stores are putting out it seems they are all full of spandex .
Thanks a bunch

Marilyn I have seen, a long time ago, a couple of English online shops that sold the cotton tights but I couldn't justify the shipping. Now I wish I had and now I wish I had bookmarked them!!! If you find them there, could I get in on an order with you? My dd 4yrold really needs some this winter.

Kacky if you're looking for child size ones.. I found this site Knees 'N' Toes The even talk about how the cotton tights help with eczema.. but you could contact them and be sure they're 100% cotton.
