Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does anyone know of software or filtering services, etc. that will scrammble/make fuzzy all images when browsing? We currently have an accelerator that comes with our eternally slow dial-up connection. The accelerator blurs many images by it's acceleration, but it seems to have the uncanny habit of half the time skipping the scantily clad pictures sites use to get customers.

I would like a program that will blur all pictures/images, for our current use, but also for if and when we get high-speed. I'm praying someone out there knows of something?!?

Your browser may well allow you to block images.

The firefox browser can be set not to load images except from pre-allowed sites using the following procedure.

go to Edit->Preferences->Content

uncheck [Load Images Automatically]

and then add any websites that you wish to be exceptions to the rule by using the exceptions button.

With firefox you can also block or unblock images from particular websites on the go by right-clicking on a image and selecting block or unblock.

Here is a guide on blocking images for Wikipedia which gives procedures for other browsers.
