Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

(not sure where to put this, please move it as necessary )

I'm planning on doing the lovely gnomes and gnumbers work, and made our gnomes last week. I have held off ordering little baskets as I saw we will need 20 - I've read the lesson plans and am not sure why I need 20. I wondered how many baskets others have used, and whether (apart from cuteness and child-appeal) I could just get away with using something else - even just squares of colured paper or circles drawn on a whiteboard. I would LOVE to feel justified in getting loads of cute little baskets, but wonder how much use the baskets get?

I couldn't find little baskets, so I am using very little clay pots instead. I guess my gnomes are garden gnomes!
God bless,

I think it was more the natural look. I found some at my op-shop and just used other containers I could find around the house.   Figured it was best to start and not worry.
