I don't exactly know how to manage this or where to put it. I have a friend whose husband is relocating to DC. She would love an instant support group there. She homeschools 3 teenage girls, attends Latin mass, and is more than a little nervous about the move. If you live in the area and PM me, I can give you her e-mail so that you can have direct contact with her. Does that make sense?

Is she going to live IN D.C. or one of the 'burbs -- Maryland or Virginia side? Many of the ladies here are in Northern Virginia near D.C. while I think there are a few on the Maryland side, too!

Yes, please let us know where she is moving - I am in Fairfax and 4real ladies are all over the DC area.

Her husband has been relocated but doesn't move until September. The family follows whenever they can sell their house here. Therefore, he could be in temporary housing for quite a while.

Invite your friend to post on here once she arrives and let us know where she is...as someone has already said, there are many of us in this area...but it is a HUGE area...so for her to find support, we would have to know where she is!

In the meantime, I'll say a prayer to St. Raphael that she finds herself among friends!
