Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

The Blogging 101 post sent me off snooping around Wordpress (for way too long this evening). I loaded up a blogroll and was wondering: how do you follow your blogs in Wordpress? Blogger makes it sooo easy to do so, perhaps I'm too spoiled?? Is there something similar to Google Reader in the Wordpress dashboard?

I did see that you could hover the cursor over each blog's name and it would show a snapshot of the blog. However, I noticed the snapshots weren't necessarily current AND there was a blip sound which I just didn't really care for.

TIA.

Things I like, though, are the sharper look to the blog templates and the ability to easily have a three column blog, or menu bar up top, or publish pages that aren't posts.

I love having a two column blog, which is easier in Wordpress.

I don't have a blogroll, I admit that. I use Bloglines or Google Reader. If there is a way, I don't know of it.

I'm actually getting ready to try something else. I have wordpress, and I can't do blogrolls, or pretty much anything other than my own blog list.

That's why it's so nice to have options. Frankly, I dislike blogrolls, mainly because I have a dinosaur computer, runs like a sloth. Any script just slows it down more. I dread clicking on the blogs that are full of lots of scripts and images.

But see, it's a personal choice!
