Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I'm just venting, honestly. I've reported someone for what I dearly hope is a violation of Facebook's policies -- it's not even someone I'm "friends" with, but someone whose comments I was able to view on photos of someone else from the past who's set to be viewable by non-friends. If you can follow that. I couldn't believe the information being posted about two other private individuals' sinful behavior from many years in the past, like it was just something to joke about. It was actually a man posting about his own sister's s*xual behavior with another Facebook person's brother, no first name for at least one of them (the brother's first name might be elsewhere in the conversation) but easy to tell who they are, and this is a guy with advanced education who ran for public office (no one you'd likely have heard of unless you live in his area.)

I would feel like I was having a heart attack if I had made similar mistakes and it was posted about me on the Internet like that! (Let alone by my own sibling.) Bad enough for it to be said for no good reason in a 1-on-1 conversation. I hope they do something about this comment, or I'm going to be really disturbed not only about that but thinking about what else they would let stand.

Oh, Theresa. Bless you for even caring about this, and for standing up for decency. I seriously doubt it's a violation of policy if everyone involved is of legal age, but maybe because you complained, they'll take action somehow? Sadly, in this day and age that's what passes for conversation ... I feel your sorrow over this.
