Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

We have some wonderfully helpful librarians and we'd like to get them a little something for Christmas to show our appreciation. We've given plates of Christmas goodies in the past. Any other ideas?

Oh, dear, no suggestion!?!?! And all this talk of closing libraries across the country.

What did you come up with, Jackie?

Had I seen this sooner, I would have suggested coffee house gift cards.

We gave homemade treats again as I just couldn't come up with anything else creative with all the other christmas creating going on. I'd still like to give them something special. We live in a very small town and my boys and I even have our own shelves for things they and I have ordered through interlibrary loan. The children's librarian does a book study for our coop too. When I think of something I'll just do it. It doesn't have to be xmas. So, if anyone can think of anything, let me know.

You could always make them a bookmark. There are lots of ideas here and your boys can personalize them with pictures or beads etc.
