The girls and I made it to SA over the weekend. We've found a house and have spent the last four days shopping for furniture and household stuff.   Not fun. But, we have a place to call home and if all goes well Nick will be here with us permanently by Christmas. I've found the library and the post office, so far. San Antonio is huge! Hopefully I can hook up with some local homeschooling groups-we really need to get out and meet some new people. The girls and I are ready to converse with someone other than each other! I should have internet access at home by the 17th, until then I'll be sporadic about checking in.
Please continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we settle in!

San Antonio has a wonderful exhibit of art from the vatican going on. It's a wonderful city. We live near Fort Hood, but have visited San Antonio. Hope you like it.

Since we are a military family, we are not strangers to moves. I hope you get settled in quickly and find some good friends.

I will see if I can find a local homeschooling group for you.
