Devin and I just placed and order - much better selection than I anticipated! $1 for plumper lipgloss, makeup brushes, tweezers, mirror compacts, and so much more.
For a woman who didn't wear makeup until after I turned 40, I think it is hilarious how cheering this order is for me and that I'm posting about makeup at all here  .

$1?!?!?! Wow!! I'm going to have to pass this on to my sister. I'll have to take a look as well. Thanks, Angie! As one who hardly ever wears makeup, I'm wondering about myself as well.

Thanks so much!!! For $18.45, I got a couple of pre-teen Christmas gifts - including one for a hard-to-buy-for person - and a bunch of stocking stuffers for dd.

e.l.f. is always $1. I do know several people who have bought their stuff though for $1 at Kmart and places like that who have been happy with the quality for the amount of money they spent.

Thanks, Melissa! I haven't been caught in a snopes trap for some time...its good to be humbled  .
For a buck, dd and I are optimitic. After we check it out for quality, we'll let you know. Anyone else want to chime in on the quality of this product line?

ANGIE!!! Aisa and I are IN SHOCK! That *you* started this thread.
But I do TOTALLY understand about the "after 40" thing. I placed a makeup order a few months ago -- first time in ~20 years...

oh - oh.
just as an FYI before you pass this on to email lists, etc.
It is a GREAT deal!!!!...but it seems e.l.f. cosmetics are always a dollar.  They are actually on snopes, I have been informed...and not being bought out...

BUT! STILL a great deal, IMO! And there are reviews of the items that say they are good quality!

yep, ELF is all I have around here. (always 1.00) although target used to sell it and it was easier to pick up locally awhile back...
