Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hi everyone~
I just wanted to pass on a new little trick I stumbled upon. Now, perhaps this is widely known and I have been living in a cave!    But anyhow, we had a few CDs with horrible scratches- -I used Brasso and VOILA!! They play beautifully! I use a soft cloth with a VERY small dab of Brasso and work from the middle of the CD, outward. Of course, make sure it's dry before trying it.
Anyway, here's the tip of the day!

Just last night dd asked how to fix a scratched CD. How timely! A question though: do you work outward in circles, or in a straght line from the center? I hope that makes sense

Yes, just work outward in tiny circles all the way around.

I wonder if this works on DVDs? We get DVDs from the library and ... especially the kid vids ... are so scratched and gooky that they don't even play!
