Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Just a little announcement to let you know that I'm leading an online Phil Lenahan program (7 Steps to Becoming Financially Free) on the Simple Gifts Email List.

Don't worry if you don't have the books yet. You can follow along and go back to previous weeks when you do have the books. You might be able to borrow a copy from your public or church library. Some of the gals found really well-priced copies online.

I posted the preparation assignments tonight on the list and we'll begin discussing the assignments next Thursday.

Blessings,

Have you ever read Your Money or Your Life? An excellent read on this subject.

No, I haven't, but I'll have to put it on my booklist to check out. Thanks, Books!

Blessings,

Hi Nissa,
I was just getting ready to start the Total Money Makeover, so I think I will hop over to your group to see what I can glean.

Thanks!

Classic.

Mary Hunt at Debt-proof Living is conservative, fun, and helpful.

Best wishes with your group, Nissa. Phil Lenahan's approach is rock solid.

Love,

Thanks, Angie. I think that it dovetails nicely with the whole theme of the list - we're all trying really hard to help each other live more thriftily (is that a word?). I like doing these things as a group. Maybe it's just a girl thing...

Blessings,
