I would like to give you a heads-up everyone, that if you were to speak to one of my children, any of them, I'm certain they would have a whole lot to say about their mother and my obsessive compulsive snap-aholic camera issues,  that crazy self-imposed disease whereby I just HAVE to take my camera everywhere I go and snap, snap, snap photos to beat all.
Before they have the chance to tattle on me, I will confess as many of you can too, it's an "oh so wonderful addiction", a fantabulous (!) and GRAND addiction to have.
I do take an enormous amount of photos. The old adage of a mother only taking photos of her older children and then finding the habit lessening for the younger ones is so not true for me. Nope! I take ALOT of photos every month, upload and file them on my computer by month, save to a disk by month, and print off corresponding sheets of mini thumbnails to file them away in my family photo archives. I don't actually have them all printed, but the possibilities of taking so many photos are endless....and maybe silly to some. Not to me though.
All this said, would you like to join in the fun of a summer photo challenge with me? I've posted details on my blog, nothing requiring super commitment from anyone, but you know I simply LOVE the diversion (and I NEED the diversion with the mounting medical stresses ahead here the next few weeks  ) during this upcoming season and had so much fun joining Jennifer with her "April shower of photos", so I’d love to think it's time for another photo fun challenge. I even teased Jennifer when she recently blogged about her new camera to have another, and since I wrote about doing one, my brain is in full mode fun, snapping away. I just can't help it. I can't. I snap all sorts of things.

P.S…… pssst….you know I recently found out this OCD might be contagious, so beware! Recently two of my daughters showed me their own fancy photos on their cameras, almost boasting about taking "a photo like mom does, even going so far as snapping the food before them (gasp – they are like their mother, oh that is so funny, all that teasing along the way and they are doing it now too…LOL)"...so we will embrace the idea that the self imposed snapping photo addiction craze has hit a number of us here in our home. Watch out folks, it may be coming home to you too someday. LOL

You can count me in, Renee! My kids always get me my purse and the camera when we are going somewhere--anywhere they just know that I will find something to take a picture of!!

Yeah Joanne, happy to have you along. My daughter seems to want to get into the act too, at least one of them so far. I think she wants me to even post some of her "mommy inspired photos" on my blog. Imagine that? LOL

Count me in, too! I just signed up at your blog to join in the summer photo fun! My dh thinks I'm nuts for how often I pull out my camera. He even bought me a "My Book" external hard drive to hold all the pics! I think he was tired of watching the stack of photo discs grow and grow ! He thinks it will hold all the pictures I could possibly take for the rest of my life. We'll see.

I'm back from our long weekend away and I'm super excited to join in! My dh bought me a new external flash I need to figure out soon, I'm so glad you thought of this. It'll be fun!
