Good morning...

This past Father's day our children and I came up with has become a brilliant idea when a light bulb thought came on. With the medical prognosis my husband is facing (lung disease requiring transplantation), he was presented an IPod touch.

As we've come up with all the advantages for someone facing much hospital time, recovery months and a separation from family members, it hit me yesterday when I wrote about this on my blog the possibilities are limitless and can benefit so many other people out there! Imagine a group getting together to purchase such an item for someone you might know in the same position? How about a shut-in, a pregnant women ordered to bedrest, a soldier over seas, really it's an idea worth consideration in so many instances.

Normally we aren't a material family on Hallmark occasions, but this one was thought of long and hard by the entire family. I wondered if you might care to look at my list of benefits, add-ons if you will, on my blog and please let me know your thoughts on other areas of interest we can jump on the bandwagon with. I want to find particular websites for things as well, so if you already have a bunch bookmarked to send along to me, I would absolutely be thrilled to bits! :-)

Wow, thanks for your private messages, so helpful. Now all I need is a pile of websites for downloading specific items. We really like the idea of daily mass availability, recitation of the rosary either live or in podcast (?), saint of the day something or another, and websites to buy conference talks of interest. If you have any of these to pass along, please, please forward them to me either here or privately, with sincere thanks.

The road ahead is going to be tough, we want to be armed and prepared. Imagine being able to pick up something so small for so many reasons? Wow, I even heard there was such a thing as an IPod book for Dummies (thanks Jennifer), which I will be hunting for.
