My cheerful ds12 woke up in the grumpiest mood today...even semi-slamming cabinet doors while getting breakfast.

Finally, I asked him, "What in the world is wrong with you today?" He said, "Why can't we have cable television like everyone else in the world?" LOL I said, "Well, I'm pretty sure we aren't the only ones who don't have cable. Why are you so upset about it today?" He said, "Wimbledon starts today and I can't watch any of it until Saturday because we don't have cable like EVERYONE else in the whole entire world."

LOL

We are always pulling for Federer at our house...and I root for the Williams sisters. Anyone else tennis fans?

We like tennis. Dd plays. She likes the Williams sisters. We don't watch tv anymore(and we've never had cable), so we wait for the newspaper(or online news) for results.

Yep. Dh is a tennis coach. we don't have cable either but he reads about it online or has a friend record it for him.

One dd is just beginning tennis lessons this summer so we're not into it (yet??)!

I did see this. I don't know much about streaming video, but maybe it would get the matches to him sooner.

Ooooh! If I lived in England I would really love to go see a match. There is just something so sophisticated about Wimbledon. The crisp white uniforms. The beautiful courts. It looks so exciting.
