Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Only 1, and it's a Jewish blog.

I made it a rule not to subscribe to blogs because my email box gets full enough without blog notices.

I just read and randomly click around.

I use bloglines and couldn't find a total number anywhere. So I tried counting, but since I'm tired... I kept losing my place.    Definitely over 60 though!

I only have 20, but I still have 40 something on my "favorites" list that I haven't moved over to bloglines yet.

I use bloglines and have a personal rule to keep it to 40, when I find a new one an old one may get ousted. This way I can keep up by reading a couple of times a week.

Btw, many of you ladies are on there, I'll leave you to guess which ones

107, but a couple of those are old/new links, and there's a couple I don't _actually_ expect to see posting (my dad... it might happen one day, but I'm not holding my breath:-) )

I do need to do another cull though. I've added a few new ones recently.

I've kept it to about 35 because I am easily overwhelmed. I was able to keep up for awhile when everyone suggested using Google Reader to manage. But I am finding recently I just don't have enough time to spend in both the blog world and also in the 4 Real world so more of my time is here. Then when I do have some time and I go to Google Reader and find that some prolific bloggers have 30+ posts since I last checked I cry because I know I can never catch up and I'll miss great things.

54. But I don't read every post from all of them, and not all of those blogs post every day. I need to go through and weed some out... but then again, I have a few I've just discovered that I need to add.

Sixty some for me too, although I definitely don't read them all everyday because most don't post that often. I take a few times each week to get all the bold highlights down and click that "all read" tab at the top. These are my "Mother culture moments" ;-) But don't you just LOVE having this service available to keep track of all those favs? How wonderful to keep the bookmarks/favorite tabs in line and in order, instead of overflowing into page after page of links. AND, never miss a post this way either. Gotta love it!

Maryan, look at the very top, right under the tabs, under the add, edit, options links. It should be the next thing you see.

Can anyone tell me how Blog Reader works??
Does it just alert you to a new post at a blog you subscribed to? Or does it put the new post at that blog into your e-mail?   How is it different than the RSS feed thing?
I'm a big blogger, but still lack a lot of knowledge about this stuff -- so any info you can explain to me is VERY appreciated.

I don't get email alerts.

I use Google a lot - for email, Reader, Calendar, blogger, etc.

So, usually, after checking my email, there is a little link up top to "Reader" - I click on that.

I am sure there is a way to get email notices and all that but that would be too much for me.

I win so far - 152

I think many are old and never updated though. I also have some for real estate searches on Realtor.com and a forum I help moderate, so it's not all blogs. 149 are blogs.

I in no way read all those new posts all the time! I have a small number of favorites and friends, and for others I kind of judge on title and first line or so whether I can spend time on it.

I *do* need to purge again, though.

LOL!! Thanks Theresa!! I would have never seen that!!

I have 88 then -- no wonder I lost my place!!

To break it down I have:

10 feeds I don't read that bloglines suggested -- they just get really large in their folder -- I should just delete them.

Then I 9 feeds from family members and 69 Mom blogs/Catholic news!!
