Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Last night at a meeting we read a gospel reading and a reflection providing some Bible history and 3 questions to think about followed by discussion.
The reflection and questions have had me thinking as I move through my morning.

Do any of you have an internet site that provides solid gospel reflection with maybe a few questions for personal thought?

I already own In Conversation With God and enjoy it but I am looking for internet resources.

Viv, we had several suggestions for email and Internet in this thread, but most are just the readings.

The Daily Gospel has both mailing and web viewing, with commentary.

Daily Word mailings have commentaries from the Navarre Bible.

I did some quick searches and found a few others, but I'm not sure of their soundness.

I get the daily Gospel and meditation from Regnum Christi. For the most part, the reflections are very good. There aren't questions at the end, but a daily resolution.

Here is one for the Sunday readings that is a bit more factual (think background information that inhances your understanding) and is only for the Holy Days and Sundays:
St. Charles Borromeo Parish Bible Study
When you get there, click on the first link, Liturgical Calendar.

I have been printing this out on scrap paper and reading it every week for about two and a half years now. I have never been disappointed. Occasionally I will withhold it from my ten y.o. due to adult content (but this is only once a year or so...think the adulterous woman, or St. Paul warnings against various sins...)

It features commentary (and the Mass readings) but does not cover the Psalms.

I recommend it highly.

My favorite is the one from St. Charles Borromeo that Kelly listed above.

However, here is one that I've subscribed to:
http://gnm.org/index.shtml

and here is one that is my husband's favorite:
http://www.creighton.edu/CollaborativeMinistry/daily.html
it has daily readings/reflections as well as a weekly reading/prayer guide - we usually print out the weekly guide and tape it to our bathroom mirrors so everyone can easily spend time with the reflections.
