WOOHOO!!! We finally got all the approvals and we're leaving on March 19th!!! We receive Rachel in our arms forever on March 24th. 
We've decided to take Hannah with us. We'll be gone 2 weeks and we just feel it's too long for her to be away from us. She's only been home 16 months herself. Our boys are flying to my sister's house in Virginia and spending the time with family. They're very excited but in some ways wish they could be with us when we meet Rachel for the first time. We've talked to many families who've taken their other small children with them and they've all said it worked out fine. It actually gave the new child a sense of comfort and someone to play with. Hannah talks about it all the time.
Life has been absolutely crazy this last week getting everything set up after finding out we could go. We're going with some very good friends here who have adopted one little girl and are adopting a little boy this time. Their little girl and Hannah are best buddies so that will be great for Hannah, too.
Please pray for us. Pray that Rachel's heart will be open to us and that we all stay healthy. I have IBS and that's always a concern for me especially traveling to a foreign country.

Congratulations, Lisa! Fantastic!! I will be praying to Saint Joseph for you all. He took him as our patron when we adopted my son, and he was such a dear intercessor for us--praying that he will keep your growing family close to his Son.
