Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does anyone else here get completely intoxicated by the sweet smell of Dreft?

I was wondering today as I was cleaning and making some preparations for the baby, if anyone knew if Mrs. Meyer's or another fairly green (non-chemical) cleaning line had anything so delicious smelling like a baby powder scent?

I'd LOVE to get my hands on something scented like this for cleaning and wiping down things like the car seat, seats in the van (for the inevitable baby puke bath ,) the changing table, etc.

Anybody know of anything??

Guess I should've been more specific in my post title! The scent of baby can go so many ways can't it?

I'm thinking of baby powder scent!!

I have the Mrs Meyer's Baby Scented all purpose wipes, but I haven't opened them yet as I have not finished my old package yet. I am hoping they have that similar smell that you are describing! I will let you know as soon as I do

I have some of the Mrs. Meyer's baby scented items, and I am so sorry to say that I don't care for them. I was expecting a softer scent, but it is kind of harsh actually.

I've been thinking myself recently on how I could concoct a softer, powedery scent myself...

Ditto that. The baby scented stuff is the only Mrs. Meyer's stuff that makes me itch and sneeze.

I'm not sure about cleaning products, but I've been using this for bathing the baby, and oh, he smells like a summer afternoon!

(By the way, I just noticed some weird stuff on their site-- ugh. Why does all the organic stuff have to be connected with New Age? I understand the general connection, but I hate being innundated with it )

Anne,
I've used those same (Healthy Times) products on my little guy for the last 3 years! I can't give them up - especially the honeysuckle scented baby bath. It is the perfect, light scent! Delicious!

Now if only I could find a sweet, light scented cleaning product like this!    How depressing that you all find the Mrs. Meyers baby powder scent to be strong and irritating! Blast! I have looked and can't find anything else. I wonder if I could concoct something?

Anybody done that? Some of you hinted that you were thinking of trying.

I like the Solumel from Melaluca - and I am very sensitive to smell - I use it for the diaper pail etc. Melaluca also does a botanical Solugard cleaner - natural disinfectant - that I can tolerate. Find someone who is a preferred customer so you can get them to order for you at a reduced price. ( I used to be - but am no longer)

Jennifer, if you want to try the Mrs. Meyers baby scent, they will refund your purchase if you don't like the scent. I tried the Lemon Verbana last year, and it doesn't agree with me scent-wise. I sent them an email about it, and they refunded the money for all the lemon verbana products I had just purchased and told me to pass the remaining products along to someone else. No return was even necessary!
