Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

If anyone has the Washington Times - check out the awful ad on Page A6 - horrid horrid horrid. I do not have time to type out the whole thing - but let me give you some quotes

"an unwanted pregnancy is a life sentence"

"since RU486...an embryo can be destroyed before it acquires a nervous system in about six weeks"

"a baby doesn't just pop out. On the human pain scale, unmedicated child birth is the maximum 10, worse than having an arm or leg cut off.."

I guess it is their retort to the March for Life today.

I'll bet some man wrote the childbirth pain thing. I can't believe it's less painful to have your leg cut off than to have a baby!

How totally sad.

Wow. Truly sad. (And poorly written, to boot.)

My ds just got angry at the Food Channel for airing bc/contraception ads. I'm glad; it makes me feel as though I've done something right this week.

This is truly a day for serious prayer, and for healing in our society.

On a brighter note though, the positive pro-life ads far out number the sick ones. Actually, I think this was the only pro-murder one.

It looks as if it's (poorly) written by a private citizen...

That's what I thought, too, Noreen. It's kind of strange.

Very sad. My hearts are with all who are able to make it to the march for life. I'll pray that those who read this ad are aware of the lies they read.
May God's grace go with any woman struggling with this decision.

How sad. And I was thinking how sad that so many people spend their lives, working in the endeavors of PP to maintain a woman's right to kill her baby. To have that as a focus for their life.
I can't find anything on googling, but I heard on the radio, this morning, that PP was planning on donating record amounts this year to those running for congress who support PP's agenda.

I need to go pray.

God Bless,
Stacy in MI

After I read it I thought, that doesn't make any sense!

I have to think, people reading that might really THINK for a change about what abortion really is. Still a terrible ad, though.
