Just wanted to publicly acknowledge a 4real friend:
friendship is defined as someone (that would be Mary M) taking someone else's kids (that would be mine) while the mom has jury duty -- not knowing just how long a commitment that could be. Mary M is an amazing friend who would have even taken mine with her to the National Western Stock Show tomorrow if the case ran over! It didn't, but it's awfully nice to know that I have friends like Mary M.

I am a big fan of Mary M too - never met her in real life - but she has helped me out so much over the last 6 months when I have been freaked out about taking medication whilst nursing.
Lucky you to have her so close!

MaryM fan chiming in here too!! do you know she had my never-met-before newlywed sister and Brother in Law over for dinner? Because they moved to her area? I am always grateful for her nursing, mothering, and parenting advice.
now, how DID that jury duty go???

Before I met Mary in person, I thought she was great, great, great! Her links, book suggestions, and advice on nursing and such are awesome! She's even better in real life! :) Mary G., you are blessed to have her in your real life! I'm glad you publicly acknowledged her - she deserves it!

From another fan here.....Oh, Mary and Mary, you are BOTH so lucky
I only spent about 20 minutes chatting with MaryM in a car while a severe thunderstorm poured water over us and my kids wondered where I disappeared to....and, I was SO bummed that was all the time I had in the world.....because she is such a kindred spirit!
hey, but God gave ShawnaB to me about 5 yrs ago......so I finally have a IRL in MY OWN hometown kind of friend........and it is way cool. And, I KNOW she would take my kids for me for any reason...and vice versa...we were just chatting about that today....for ski school.

A big MaryM fan here, too! 
She helped me tremendously during my bumpy journey to the Catholic church. Even though we have never met, I feel she's a friend. Whenever I see a post by her I click to read it.

This thread just warms my heart! I have never met or spoken to Mary M, but hope to make it up to Colorado some day to see both Marys. I love MaryM's posts and suggestions here too. Mary G, you are blessed to have such a friend. You two are blessed to have *each other*.  to you both!

Oh my, I am completely honored to be mentioned in this company!! Yes Chari, it has been more that 5 years, but your generous presence and labor support at Amelia's birth certainly sealed our friendship! What an incredible blessing you were that day (it was 5 years on New years Eve!) and continue to be today!

I have to chime in my appreciation here too as MaryM held my hand all through the budgeting of the 4Real conference in VA this summer. Mary, where do you find the time to be everything to everyone?
And I must also mention one local 4real friend who drove an hour and took my 6 kids to an empty house for the day while I was moving...and roped me into a conference which was a blast and let me make new 4real friends and hang out with others I don't get to see much...and invited us over to meet more 4real friends who were on a star spangled vacation...and is willing to go to the zoo just about any time, even almost on her huband's birthday when he's about to go away for a bit....I love you, Mary Chris!

I'd like to join the Mary Chris fan club...over the months (years? I lose track) I have been part of 4Real, she's taken the chance to meet me IRL at a museum she's been to at least a thousand times, patiently put up with my dd's efforts to dress her cats in doll clothes , etc.
Also, I've noticed that she's really great at popping up to help when you're feeling totally frazzled. Where she finds time for this, I don't know, but it's just wonderful.
Don't you think it's amazing that so many generous people have found their way to 4Real? When I'm really down, I come here. You ladies give me hope that God's way really works, that the Kingdom can indeed come, because you're generously sharing every part of yourselves. I know you're typing late at night or while nursing a baby, but you are here helping all of us walk the path God has laid out for us. Thank you to all the secret pray-ers, to the experienced mommies who give practical advice, to the reading fanatics who share their booklists, to the gardeners who help me think that this year maybe I won't kill the zucchini, to all of you who model for me examples of Real womanhood.

I thought of both Marys this Sunday when my family attended Mass at the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Denver! BEAUTIFUL!
I was hoping I'd see a family walk in led by a mom wearing a sign "I'm Mary G" and carrying a knitting bag or "I'm Mary M. in Denver!"
Since I knew I was missing other CO. residents, I included you, too, in my prayers! 
We were on our way home from a ski trip and were able to attend Mass there before a quick trip to the Children's Museum (to wear out the littles) and off to the airport.
