) up to DC for the National March back in 2001 ... Maggie was 9 months, Thomas was just 2, Catie was 9 and Joe was 11. It was a very cold, icy weekend in DC (and packed as it was also the weekend of Bush's inauguration).
). We drove up from NC so it was a good 5 hours of driving up early Saturday morning and then coming back late on Monday evening. We got to the National Shrine for the big Mass, got in some sightseeing in DC, and just had a marvelous time with all 4 of the kids ...
