I was not sure where to put this, but I considered it an act of Mothernurture 
you all know about the upcoming COMPLETE Jane Austen series? All of her books have been dramatised into series, and PBS is showing them ALL.

I started Persuasion today. I wonder if we'll finish it before the movie. I would like to figure out how to tape the movie so I don't stay up too late on Sundays.

Which movie versions are they showing? The ones made by A&E? I mean Colin Firth is the ultimate Mr. Darcy. And I've seen their Persuasion as well. But what about the rest? Or has PBS made their own??
I may have to check it out on our digital cable tv schedule.

Barbara, I believe there are four new productions - Persuasion, Mansfield Park, Northanger Abby and Sense and Sensibility. Here's a link to my local PBS station which explains all about the upcoming series.

Rachel... I saw the advert at the end of Jane Eyre too... which I did not watch because I REALLY want to READ it first. Knowing our PBS station, I figure they will repeat it 
Oh, and yes, it is the BBC adaptation of P&P with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle (I am not sure if I spelled that right!).
I think the only one I have NOT read is Sense and Sensibility. No... I think I read that too. Mum is an Austen fan . I read P&P at the age of 8 first time around  . I didn't get it though...
