Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I have always had a household notebook since I became a SAHM and read "Confessions of a Happily Organized Family". It wasn't until I read all of the blog posts thought that I was inspired to make it ~pretty~! So, thanks for that!!

DH and I are having a "changing of the guard" in regard to the family finances. I'm home all day, he is almost never here , it just makes sense for me to be in charge of daily bill paying. Probably good for me, too. So, now I need to make a pretty, functional Family Finances binder. Here is what I'm going to include so far:

-List of bills with 12 boxes next to it so I can check off "water bill paid for January"
-List of online passwords (the binder will live next to the computer so I'm not concerned about security)
-List of debts in the order that we are snowballing them
-Monthly budget
-Something to track ALL non-bill spending
-Something to help tighten up grocery spending, not sure what, maybe a magic wand!!

Does anyone have any other ideas how to make my new binder successful?

Melissa
