yep...it's super easy to do. I just throw a little water in and a chicken bouillon cube, similar to cooking a whole chicken in the crockpot.

This is the only way my MIL fixes turkey for Thanksgiving. The meat stays moist, though I will say that it has that "taste" that everything seems to get when cooked in the crockpot (at least the white meats), KWIM?

Personally, I prefer a roasted turkey, though this is a nice option to have extra white meat on hand and you don't have an extra oven.

I have,several times.In my opinion,that is the best way to cook turkey breast.It's very good if you just season with salt and pepper then pour a little white wine over it.Then let it cook for several hrs on high.The meat is very flavorful and juicy.The juice is excellent.Hope that helped!

I do it the same way as Nina, a little salt and pepper and some wine. Comes out well every time.

We are not wine drinkers - I have tried SO many trying to find one that I liked, and haven't yet - so can someone suggest one that might work well with the Turkey?

How about the ones from Trader Joes?

I just use whatever wine we have left over, as dh and I can rarely finish a bottle at one sitting.
I am not a wine snob at all and will drink whatever. I prefer them light and fruity, like a white zinfandel.
