Does it seem to early to anyone else to be announcing the Advent Loveliness Fair already?

Well, remember that we're only talking about "preparing" to prepare, so the fair will take place almost a full week before the start of Advent. Then, next week is Thanksgiving and I'm betting that many of you will be too busy for blogging for a few days. This is also my first time hosting a blog fair and I want to give myself time to put things together.

So, any of you who are ready to send me your contributions by next Wednesday, November 21, please do so. Realistically, I will probably put this together the night before, so if you aren't ready until the weekend, send it in anyway!

I'll be hosting this at Aspiring Homemaker. I know there are lots and lots of great liturgical year ideas out there. I'm hosting this fair in part because I don't want to miss any of them!

You know--I'm not really sure! I didn't come up with the fair title myself and I thought I'd sort of leave it open to see what comes along.

But . . . I guess I sort of envisioned us all getting to poke around in everyone else's attic Advent box (or bedroom closet Advent box, in our case). I love opening up our Advent/Christmas storage bin every November and thinking about all the traditions associated with each item. Our traditions are still young and simple but lovely (I think). I was planning a post where I just sort of wonder and anticipate aloud about a few of our things. Maybe others can come up with something more creative than that!

Posts from previous years are fine, too!
