If anyone out there is relocating to Washington, DC or is looking to buy a house, I know a Catholic family looking to sell their incredible home to a growing Catholic family. They live in a really fantastic neighborhood full of fantastic young Catholic families. PM me if you are interested in the property.
If it's not against the rules to post a link to the house, let me know and I'll post it here.

Here it is
And, yes, the neighborhood is as amazing as it sounds.
I don't personally live there, by the way, but I have a good friend who does.

Wow! That looks great! Too bad we're on the tail end of our tour here and not at the begining. I'll keep my ear out for families that might be moving to the area.

Wow, just out of curiosity I took a peek. I did not know places/neighborhoods like that existed! WOW!! And that house is beautiful! I hope they can find a buyer soon!

Hi, I'm the guy who put up the Web pages about the house in Hyattsville, Maryland. I found your discussion forum from Web stats when I saw that 75 people had visited my site from yours. Thanks, SusanJ, for posting it!
Just wanted to let you all know that we did find buyers for the house (three Catholic homeschooling families responded and the first-come is signing a contract with the sellers this week). One or both of the others will continue looking in Hyattsville because they fell in love even more with the Catholic community here than with the house!
If you are in the Washington, D.C., region and will be looking for a new home, or moving here at some point in the future, please feel free to contact me and I'd be happy to show you around and assist you in finding the right house.
I'm not a real-estate agent, but have served eight years on the Hyattsville City Council and have lots of connections in the community. I have helped 15 families move to the neighborhood (most of them homeschoolers), and my wife and I have even bought and fixed up houses to sell to Catholic families at no profit or a loss. We believe it is part of our vocation to help foster an environment where we can live mutually supportive lives in the Faith and raise our kids to be saints.
If you are looking for something a little wider than the nuclear family but a little short of an actual commune, and you want to live in the world but not of it, then Hyattsville may be for you.
There is more info on our community on the Web site at http://chriscurrie.net/4102community.html (see "of special interest to Catholic families").
Looking forward to participating in these forums now that we're members!
God bless --

Hi Chris!
I wondered if you were lurking no this forum! We've met lots of times at parties (I'm Susan, Sarah's friend). So glad to hear about your new neighbors.
God Bless,
Susan

Susan, hah! I was wondering if that was you! Thanks also, by the way, for introducing us to Jamie and Amira -- it looks like they might become neighbors at some point soon. Blessings to you, Eric, Joseph and Margaret -- Chris
