Thank you all for your prayers. This was the longest labour yet, but the baby came very fast in the end. Bernie almost had to catch the baby because when I told him it was time to push, he told me to wait until the next contraction to get the nurse. He won't say that next time 
The baby came 11 days early. This was very providential. Last month the OB told me he wanted me to have an epidural since I had never had one before. He said I needed to save my energy for home. I told him I wanted to offer it up for purgatory, and little did I know she would be borne on All Soul's Day.

All Souls is a beautiful day to be born on - it is a day where heaven and purgatory rejoices abundantly and while it has a more sombre/penitential meaning to us on earth, the reality is there is this incredible happiness for most of the mystical body of Christ.
