Someone who travels a good half hour out of her way, stops at the grocery store and lovingly picks out all sorts of good things: frozen dinners, waffles, bagels, fruit, breakfast sausage, cheese sticks ( a huge hit!), OJ, yummy desserts and even some candy for her grateful friend, then delivers them without any fanfare. Come and gone before her sick friend is even out of bed.
I am so thankful for such a dear friend! Thank you Ruth!!!

This sounds just like the Ruth I know online, I only wish there was not so many thousands of km's (miles) of separation from Ruth and so many others. 
Good friends are blessings, indeed!

This just makes me tear up! I'm so thankful to be part of such a blessed community here on this board.
I, too, wish there weren't so many miles between! I keep hoping these next 17 months go quickly for us because then I'll be closer too!!!

Sound just like Ruth! She calls me most days to check in to see how I am feeling - despite having enough on her own plate right now.
I too find this forum so supportive - I do not get out a lot and the prayers here often keep me going. My husband often smiles because I talk about "my friend Anne in Australia" or "my friend Molly who needs prayers" and he knows I have never met you IRL!!

Sarah - you have been one of my best online friends - helped me get through hyperemesis, mastitis etc. The way I talk about "my friend Sarah" you would think we got together for tea every week!! Plus we have our MJ and JM who would probably be great buddies if we lived closer.
Just do not go and start the morning sickness too quickly again  - because I seem to mirror whatever you do
