Our baby boy was born on Tuesday night after a very fast, intense labor. He weighed 8 lbs 3 oz (our biggest so far) and is doing well!  PM me if you want his real name, I just can't share it on a public forum.  (sorry, my inbox has some room now!  )
Our only (minor) concern is with nursing - he can take up to 30 minutes to latch on, and not the greatest latch at that... once he is on he seems to be a pretty good nurser though. So we both just need patience to work through that frustrating latch time.
Thank you all for your prayers throughout my pregnancy and delivery!

My dd 5 had some trouble latching on in the first week, but she's the one I wished would wean long before she actually did. I call her Helper on my blog, but the boys used to say that she should have been called nurser.

Twenty years ago I was due for my first son on Sept. 25th. He was born four days late, but I always think of the 25th with very fond expectant memories.
Praying for the nursing issues and that you get through them with ease.

Oh Amy this is wonderful news! He was born on MY bday too (so I'll never forget the little guy) -- how cool is that! The girls are going to LOVE having a baby brother!
