Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I'm trying to make butter using the "Mother's Little Helper" book from CHC. It calls for "sweet cream". Can anyone tell me where to buy this?

TIA for your assistance!
Kristin

Sweet cream is the same as heavy cream or whipping cream. Should be next to the milk in the dairy case. Have fun. Valerie

I think they say "sweet cream", as opposed to "sour cream". It makes it sound as if it is cream with sugar in it, but, as Valerie said, it's just heavy cream.

Peace,
Nancy

Thanks so much, ladies. I was wondering why the recipe would call for something so difficult to find! Thanks to your help, maybe we will make butter tomorrow!

Kristin
