Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I don't know this couple first hand, but I do know lots of people that heard them speak a few months ago at YFE, all reports said they were very very inspiring. LMK if you buy it, I was thinking about it myself.

well for the first time ever I downloaded a book last night, this one was just too much cheaper not to, despite my hate of reading off the computer (and the headache that comes with it)

So far it's been like reading my own story to a large degree. I like how they both kind of take turns telling it.

I wish they were hs-ers, of course, but they do attend catholic schools amazingly enough.

I really like their hierarchy of values rule! It reflects where I've been feeling led, but MY dh isn't catholic, so it's harder to impliment around here.

I was reading it off the computer last night, so I was only able to get to p. 164, the chapter about the formation of children. They have TWELVE daughter and only 2 boys, so I'm sure there's some interesting dynamics going on there. I like what I've read in that area so far, but do wonder how well a few suggestions would tranfer to my boys. These tough nuts of mine!

I wish they had given more explaination on the spiritual guaidance sessions they have with their children.

He talks considerably about the fear people are living in when it comes to chidlren these days, which is something else that resonated with me as I've said many times I also feel this is the #1 reason people don't have children. I think it's great that he really urges people to consider it they are leting fear impede their faith in this area.

I'm going to hav to print it off tonight though, because I really can't bare to read off the computer like that much more.
