We will be making a big purchase soon (unless our tennis coach comes up with some great used deals) on 3 racquets for 17yo dd, 15yo ds and 11 yo ds. We plan to go to a top tennis center for help choosing the right ones but I found a Head "Graphite Tech" for sale on Craigslist near my home.

The problem is, when I tried to get more info about them, I could not find this particular racquet anywhere. The expert at the tennis ctr. said he had never heard of it. Then on eBay I found this Head Tech racquet

Graphite is good, but is it possible this is a knock-off of a Head racquet? Otherwise how could they be selling more than 100 of the same racquets for $14 and they can't be found anywhere else? Just the fact that they're selling new racquets for $14 makes me very suspicious.

Gwen, I have no idea and can't offer any advice. I just wanted to share that I have very fond memories of my dad taking me to buy my first nice racquet and I still have it! Good luck!
