Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Just putting out feelers if anyone has previous experience with this. I'm in need of a seat or stool for our shower stall. I know there are lots of options, but one of the main differences I've found is there are teak and then there are plastic type stools.

The teak wood appeals, but is it practical? Has anyone tried one? Would plastic be a better, more durable (ie less scummy, mildew build-up) option?

I know, it's a crazy question. But maybe....

I had a plastic one when I broke my leg four years ago. I didn't worry to much about it being plastic because I was only going to use it for a short time.

My dh had to use one after his hip replacements. We had very limited hoices in our small town, and we needed one right away, so we just bought a durable, plastic seat. It worked well.
