I'm Lorna, dh is Steven, children are Isaac 8, Reuben 6, Zipporah 4 and Raphael 18mths. They are always unschooled.
We live in a mountain range covered in rain forest, 45 minutes from Auckland in New Zealand (Down Under).
I'm a cradle Catholic, and though we met at the Cathedral and he always attends Mass and everything with us, Dh isn't Catholic (yet)please add us to your prayer lists!
I have a few passions, Catholic formation and education, singing, food, children and natural learning, I also enjoy many creative pursuits, but don't find time to do much of my own these day, just what the children want to try.... though all dcs and I scrapbook together, and the memories we record are the only homeschooling records we keep.
We label ourselves "Natural Learners" and love the freedom of following our interests until we are satisfied.
We have a profound sense of God having led us and called us to homeschool, particularly in the unschool mode.
I keep hearing about this forum, and thought it was time I participated.
Looking forward to getting to know more of you, and hello to the few familiar names from Unschooling Catholics.
Blessing
Lorna

Welcome Lorna:
It is way too late and I should be in bed preparing for tomorrow, but couldn't help but see your post and wanted to at least say hello and welcome.

Welcome Lorna!! You are going to love this forum. This is a wonderful bunch of faithful women. And there is a wealth of knowledge here.
Where you live sounds incredible. My 10yr old nature boy would love it!

Welcome, Lorna.
I do hope you'll share with us what your days look like at the unschooling forum. Unschoolers fascinate me and give me comfort to look down other avenues whenever school doesn't look the way I think it should.

Welcome Lorna -- my dh asked me this morning Moses' wife's name and there you named your daughter Zipporah! What a cool name.
Do share, especially on the unschooling forum, all your experiences!
Welcome, welcome, welcome!
