Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

We're having an end-of-summer party and I want to have lots of fun things to make bubbles with for the kids. So far I have

~small pool with a hula-hoop
~bendy straws with cotton string to make big circles
~an assortment of store bought wands

Anything else we can make? Any web-sites with more information about bubbles?

I also need cheap gift bag ideas. I have Blow Pops, bubble gum, looking for small cheap things of bubbles. I'd also like to find some summery pencils or erasers. Other ideas?

TIA!!

Melissa

My dh is a cancer survivor and for the last 4-5 years, we've attended the survivors Christmas party...

Here, we've met The Bubble Guy.

He uses pvc piping to make really big bubbles that he uses with a small pool.

People can stand on something he puts in the pool (sorry, can't recall what that was) and he can put them IN the bubble.

Another idea is to just let kids use their hands to see what they can come up with!

You can also have the kids make their own solution...and use food coloring?

In the gift bag, print out a recipe for bubbles...seems some are more effective than others!
Hope that helps!

Sounds fun!

What about bubble wrap paper? My 3 year old loves the big bubble paper. He marches all over it!
